I bought these pads to replace some worn out pads on the roof of my condo. They immediately reduced the noise I was getting from my neighbor's heat pump. They are cork so I know they won't last forever , even in the mild weather of Los Angeles. I bought 8 of them in case in a few years I need to replace them again. I am again ready for a great night's sleep.

Not a complaint, just an observation:
I bought these in the hope that they would substantially reduce the fan vibration transmitted to my desktop from a large seven fan tower computer (Coolmaster).
These pads are not effective for this use.
