Battery lasts a long timeJan 21, 2010
By Dakota Nixon I've used this polisher to clean & polish my BMW X3 with Klasse car polish:
(1) The battery has plenty of power to get through the whole job (I'm guessing you could even do two cars back to back). (2) Using Klasse, the two included microfiber bonnets were all I needed - one to apply, one to buff off. (3) The unit is not too heavy to work with (though I wouldn't want it any heavier). (4) The mechanical action is good -- vigorous enough to buff out stains and to remove the dried polish, if you apply it properly (that is, don't gob the stuff on too thickly). (5) Skip the polish sprayer function. It's a PITA (you have to flush it out with water after every use) and it dribbles polish all over the place between squirts.
I'm happy with the tool. You still need to do some parts of the car by hand (mirrors, bumpers) where a 10-inch disc doesn't fit well. But it cuts the overall time for the job in half.
